About Z RESEARCH's Team

Z RESEARCH's team has evolved from VA Linux and California Digital Corp. with a rich expertise in clustered Supercomputing. Since the early days of high performance computing, numerous free software contributions have been made. In June 2004 this same team built world's second fastest Supercomputer code named "Thunder" for LLNL with 4096 Itanium2 processors, 8TB of memory and Quadrics interconnect. It demonstrated a whopping efficiency of 86.92%.
