zfs repairs deleted files? wow! :-D<br>
</blockquote>
<br>
File corruptions (if you have zfs raid configured),
which I presumed<br>
you were referring to.<br>
<br>
There is only so much a system can do to protect users
against<br>
themselves, If you insist on deleting underlying files
on a brick and<br>
not triggering a full heal then I suggest you have
crossed that line.<br>
<br>
</blockquote>
</span>
There are two types of corruption:<br>
<br>
1. hardware failure, to prevent this we use hardware raid6
right now, this is quite good, imho;<br>
2. human errors, this is what I'm talking about here.<br>
<br>

I think classic solution for human errors is snapshots. Which
is present in gluster. Feel free to give us feedback.<br>

ooh :-(<br>
<br>
If gluster heals files on access why it does not heal them during
self-heal process? Is this really self-heal?<br>
<br>
And snapshots are on different level- they save gluster volume at
whole, not from bricks difference....<br>
