We are conducting a Gluster Conference at NMAMIT, Nitte ( Mangalore) on April 11th 2015.<br>
<br>
We are expecting Engineering/MCA students and faculties from nearby colleges to attend the conference.<br>
<br>
The conference will mainly focus on Open Source Software Defined Storage with GlusterFS as an example. The conference will have a<br>
deep dive into GlusterFS followed by a workshop on GlusterFS Development. The conference will be a great opportunity for the students<br>
and the faculties to interact with Gluster community, and exchanges ideas/thoughts.<br>

GlusterFS is an open source, distributed file system capable of scaling to several petabytes<br>
and handling thousands of clients. GlusterFS clusters together storage<br>
building blocks over Infiniband RDMA or TCP/IP interconnect, aggregating disk and memory resources<br>
and managing data in a single global namespace. GlusterFS is based on a stackable user space design<br>
and can deliver exceptional performance for diverse workloads.<br>
This talk will provide an overview of GlusterFS and its features. We will also talk about internal<br>
of GlusterFS.<br>
This will be a prequel session to GlusterFS Development Workshop that follows.<br>
